Bible Verse I’m pondering
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:12
Great spiritual analogy, Steve. So wonderful we can pull in any moment, anytime, to get filled up spiritually.
My little Prius would be a huge challenge for you. It has a thick rubber bladder for the gas tank. The quirk is that the gas gauge is extremely unreliable. It may be full and register half. It may be full and actually register full. It may be empty and register full. I have to write the mileage down each time I put gas in it, so I know where I am it. It means really paying attention.
In my own Christian life, I really need to pay attention. I can’t be relying on the world. It is just too unreliable. I need to trust only in the one thing that is accurate. The Word of God, to get me to my spiritual destination without running out of gas. ๐๐

I would definitely run out of gas in your vehicle Carl!
I think we found some good sermon illustrations for both of us. How is the running going?

Hi Steve. The running is going okay. Hard to keep motivated though. The last actual race I ran was in the summer of 2019. ๐ ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
